1. Agreement

Installing or using Journal & Notes – Daily Notes, published by AAS Codeworks, means these terms apply.

2. Your content is yours

You keep all rights to what you write, photograph, draw and keep in the app. It's stored on your phone, and we have no access to it.

3. Your responsibility

Everything is stored on your phone, so keep a backup: Back up now and Auto backup are in Settings › Backup & restore. The PIN can't be reset. Forget it and the pages behind it can't be opened; a backup file restores into a fresh install.

4. Reminders

Reminders use your phone's alarms and notifications. Battery savers and some phone makers' settings can delay or stop them.

5. License

Use the app for personal, lawful purposes. Don't reverse-engineer, tamper with or redistribute it.

6. Price

The app is free to use and shows no ads. Premium is a one-time purchase on Google Play that unlocks everything in the app; there's no subscription. Refunds follow the Google Play refund policy.

7. No warranty

The app is provided as-is, without warranties of performance, accuracy or compatibility with your phone.

8. Limitation of liability

Our maximum liability is the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 10. Indirect losses, such as lost data, are excluded. Local consumer protections still apply.

9. Termination

You can stop using the app any time by uninstalling it: see Delete your data. We can stop publishing or updating the app; the data on your phone stays yours.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law. Local consumer protections still apply.

11. Changes and contact
