Light Mode and Dark Mode — a premium-minimal monochrome design where your words are the only color that matters.
Features
Purpose-built pages instead of a thousand blank documents — and every one of them works with the internet off.
Rich text & Markdown: bold, italic, highlights, headings, colors, alignment, checklists, tables, code blocks, callouts — plus a distraction-free focus mode.
Per-note password encryption and a dedicated password vault, unlocked by master password or fingerprint. Hide-from-recents blanks the app switcher.
Inline spreadsheet-style tables with live column auto-sum.
Live progress bars — “2 / 6 completed” keeps you moving.
Timeline, Shopping, LinkList, Snippets, Counters, Habit grids, Calculator, Names, flow graphs, 2D canvas boards, tabbed Notebooks.
Monospace, line numbers — opens text & code files directly.
Speak instead of typing — recognition runs on your device by default, so the audio stays on your phone. Record voice notes and attach photos or documents to anything.
Note reminders survive a reboot. Quiet, reliable, offline.
Pin places, navigate back with the offline compass & radar view. Foreground-only location.
Connect notes with [[links]] — backlinks appear automatically.
Premium-minimal monochrome design — two focused themes, zero visual noise.
TXT, Markdown, HTML, PDF — plus a one-ZIP full backup you own.
Nine widgets — notes list, today’s plan, quick actions, one-tap new note, checklist & more.
Fully translated into 48 languages, with an in-app language picker and RTL support.
Capture without leaving the app you’re in — a note that floats over whatever is on screen.
Steps connected into a branching flow — drag the nodes, draw the links, follow the path.
Drag cards and connect ideas on an open board instead of a list.
How it works
No sign-up wall, no permission circus. You’re writing within seconds of tapping the icon — even in airplane mode.
Notes, checklists, tables, voice, photos, code, places. Lock the sensitive stuff in the AES-encrypted vault.
Export any note as TXT, Markdown, HTML or PDF — or back up everything to a single ZIP and restore it on any phone.
Why it’s different
Most note apps are a login to someone else’s computer. NoteDraft is a notebook that happens to be software.
| NoteDraft | Typical cloud notes app | |
|---|---|---|
| Works fully offline | Always — offline is the default | Partial, cached only |
| Account required | Never | Email + password to start |
| Where your notes live | Your device only | Their servers |
| Encrypted vault | AES-GCM + biometric, built in | Rare, usually paid |
| Backup you own | One ZIP file, restore anywhere | Proprietary export |
| Price | Free, no ads — one-time Premium unlock | Monthly subscription |

FAQ
Yes. There is no account, no sync server and no cloud — your notes live only on your device and work in airplane mode. The app touches the internet only for optional things: in-app purchases, YouTube embeds you add yourself, downloading images you paste from the web, and cloud dictation if you turn off “Offline voice only”. It also asks the Google Play Store app on your phone whether an update is out and, once, to show Google Play’s rating prompt — the Play Store app handles both.
No. There is no sign-up, no login, no email. Pick your language, open your notebook and start writing.
NoteDraft is free and shows no ads. The free tier covers everyday use; a one-time Premium purchase unlocks unlimited notes, checklists, workflows and templates — no subscription, ever.
Everything stays on your device. Locked notes and the password vault use AES-GCM encryption behind a master password and biometric unlock. Hide-from-recents blanks the app-switcher preview. Your data is excluded from cloud backup by default.
Yes — export a full backup (notes, photos, files) as one ZIP, move it however you like, and restore on the new phone. No account needed, no lock-in.
Notes export as TXT, Markdown, HTML or PDF. Text and Markdown import straight back in, and the code editor opens files from your file manager.
NoteDraft is fully translated into 48 languages: Arabic, Bengali, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Korean, Malay, Malayalam, Marathi, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu and Vietnamese. Right-to-left layouts are supported, and the in-app language picker works on any Android version.
No background tracking, ever. Location is used only in the foreground, only when you pin a place in Map Journal — that’s it.
Android 7.0 (API 24) and newer — which covers virtually every phone from the last eight years. NoteDraft is an Android app; there is no iPhone or desktop version.
