Privacy Policy — NoteDraft

NoteDraft is an offline notebook published by AAS Codeworks. It has no accounts, no cloud sync and no server. Your notes stay on your device and are never sent to us.
1. The short version
- Your notes, files, voice memos, places and passwords are stored on your device.
- No ads, no ad SDKs, no ad tracking.
- NoteDraft goes online only for the six things in section 3.
- We do not sell or share your notes.
- We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing to ask us to delete.
2. What stays on your device

Android cloud backup skips your notes and files. Attached files are ordinary files and are not encrypted, even inside a locked note.
3. When NoteDraft goes online
- Premium purchase — Google Play Billing. We never see your payment details.
- YouTube videos you play — YouTube's embedded player, part of YouTube API Services, used only to play the videos you choose. NoteDraft sends YouTube none of your notes. See the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service.
- Images you paste from the web — downloaded once from that website.
- Cloud dictation — only if you turn off “Offline voice only”. Your phone's speech service then receives the audio.
- Google Drive backup — if you turn it on in Settings ▸ Backup (Premium). Each automatic backup, locked with your backup password on your phone, is saved on Wi-Fi (or on mobile data, if you turn off “Only on Wi-Fi”) to the Google account you choose for that notebook, in a NoteDraft folder with a folder named after each phone. NoteDraft keeps as many copies there as you chose and can see only the files it saves there. It shows you, on your phone, which account it saves to and how much of its space is used.
- Google Play Store — checks for a newer version at most every six hours and shows Google Play's rating prompt once. NoteDraft sends it none of your content.
Each of these services handles data under its own privacy policy.
4. Permissions

5. Deleting your data
Delete a note, then tap “Delete forever” in Trash. To remove everything, clear the app's storage or uninstall NoteDraft. Backup files stay in the folder you chose; delete them with your file manager. After a restore, the notes it replaced are kept for 30 days for “Undo last restore”, then deleted. Drive backup copies stay in the NoteDraft folder of your Google Drive until you delete them there, or with Delete NoteDraft's copies in Drive in Settings ▸ Backup. Step by step: Delete my data.
6. Children
NoteDraft is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
7. Emails to us
If you email us, including with “Send feedback”, we receive your email address, your message and the details the draft adds: app version, phone model, Android version and, after a recent crash, a short crash report. You see the draft before you send it. We use it only to reply, and delete it on request.
8. Changes
We update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
