Delete your data — NoteDraft

Last updated: 21 July 2026

You do not need to email us. NoteDraft has no accounts and no servers — every note, file and password lives only on your device. Deleting data there deletes it everywhere.

1. Delete individual items in the app

  1. Delete the note, checklist or file — it moves to Trash.
  2. Open Trash and tap Delete forever. The item is removed from the local database.
  3. Vault entries and attachments are deleted the same way, from their own screens.

2. Delete everything at once

  1. Open Android Settings → Apps → NoteDraft → Storage.
  2. Tap Clear data. All notes, attachments, vault entries and settings are removed.
  3. If you picked a custom media folder in the app (Settings ▸ Storage), Clear data does not touch it — delete its NoteDraft folder with your file manager.

3. Uninstall

  1. Long-press the NoteDraft icon and choose Uninstall.
  2. Uninstalling removes the app and all of its data — except exported files and a custom media folder, which stay until you delete them (steps 2 and 4).

4. Backups you exported

Backup ZIPs and exported files (TXT, Markdown, HTML, PDF) are ordinary files saved where you chose. Delete them with your file manager. We never receive a copy.

5. Encrypted content

Locked notes and the vault are encrypted with your password. Without the password the content cannot be read or recovered — deleting it as above removes it permanently.

6. Purchases

Purchase records (Premium, tips) are held by Google Play under your Google account, not by us. Manage them in Google Play.
